Yoga

Yoga is the resting of the movements of the mind. It is an extremely rich and vast ancestral discipline, of which the West has retained a small part: the asanas (physical postures).

At treize, you can practice different modern branches of Yoga (Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative...) which are interpretations of the oldest branch of physical practice, Hatha Yoga.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic Yoga initiated and harmonized by the breath. The postures follow one another, activating the cardio to sculpt the body and burn calories.

Here the mind is paused as it focuses on the flow and pushes everything else aside.

Restorative

Restorative Yoga is soft, like Yin Yoga, but is even more static because its objective is recovery, both physical and mental.

Many accessories are used to find absolute comfort, the total absence of muscle engagement and optimal relaxation to recharge the body and mind.

Yin Yoga

Yin-yoga is a gentle yoga which aims to relax, both physically and mentally. We settle in poses held for a long time to let the muscles relax and thus target connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, joints or even cartilage.

YIN Yoga is an ideal practice in addition to dynamic activities, YANG, such as martial arts, Vinyasa yoga or even running.

Beyond the physical benefits, Yin Yoga is part of a mental process of listening, exploring and accepting our sensations.

It can provide a framework conducive to meditation, connecting us with our body, with the here and now.

Equipment

Many accessories allow to increase the imbalance or to add resistance.

Swiss balls, small balloons, foam rollers, resistance band, Magic Circle... at treize, we use them all because we love variety and they allow us to create thirteen thousand challenges for deep muscles ;)

Functional

Breaking with the classic approach to bodybuilding, functional training is inspired by everyday gestures, to build a "functional" body.

It works the muscle chains as a whole to develop a harmonious silhouette and an athletic physique.
